FREE weekly meal for foster families!

Maybe you are not called to foster children but to serve and support them in other ways.

The recent Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) service project we shared earlier this month, of packing and delivering donated meals to 15 local foster families, was so appreciated by the families, that the Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELC) in BRF would like to continue providing meals through at least May 2022.

Starting March 1st Evangelical Lutheran Church in BRF will be making and delivering a weekly meal for area foster families.

To help make this outreach successful, ELC is in need of volunteers to help cook meals and/or delivery them on Tuesdays. Cooking starts early afternoon, and meals are delivered between 4-6pm.

If you feel called to help with this outreach in any way either call the church office at (715)-284-4213 or send an email to the Evangelical Lutheran Church Office for more information.

“Generosity is togetherness”

“Preparing and sharing food has always been at the center of all civilizations and all human relationships. Sharing food builds trust, strengthens connection, facilitates conversation, fosters mutual respect, and leads us to understand each other in new and deeper ways.” - The generosity habit
